There are a lot of chip shops in Hinckley, let that be said. Today it was time to tick off another on the list.
They had a meal deal here that included a drink as well as the usual mini fish, chips and a sauce. I decided upon peas today and helped myself to a can of Rio whilst they cooked to order. It had to be said, the service here was fairly robotic and more like a general takeaway service than that of a chip shop, if you know what I mean.
A few minutes later I was sat outside on a picnic table next to a massive bin!
The fish was OK here. The batter wasn’t too thick and it was nice and hot.
The chips were cut thin to medium and we’re starting to go cold and wisened, unfortunately. The peas had a nice texture to them but were bright green and lacked flavour.
Not much to write home about today.
