Central Fish Bar, Lutterworth, Leicestershire

This chip shop used to be called Johnny’s Fish Bar. We never made it there. Renamed Central Fish Bar, one of us popped along one lunchtime. 

It was a very clean and modern looking place and they were cooking to order. Great stuff. The staff were polite and attentive and I was soon sat on a bench at the end of the street having a roadside picnic.  

The curry sauce was your standard chippy type but the rest of the meal was very good. The fish was delicious and had a light crisp batter. The chips were medium thick, crisp outside and fluffy inside. The whole lot was devoured.
