This shop has got some competition in the next village; a chippy I’ve been to a few times. I thought I’d give this a try for a change.
I arrived one Saturday tea time. I should have waited until they fried some fresh chips as the ones I got looked very much like they were refried from lunchtime.
The food was unnecessarily bagged into a screwed up plastic bag.
The fish was OK. The batter was light and crisp. The curry sauce was so runny it ran through the chips to the bottom of the tray and looked like something that had passed through someone’s anus in liquid form. The chips were relocated to a bin before I went home.
