We ordered haddock and chips. The fish here is cooked upon request, so we knew it would be fresh tasting.
The chips here were the thinnest we'd ever seen. We were curious as to what they would be like as we really like thick cut chips. The thicker the better is our motto. They were thinner than our pinkies.
We need not have been concerned as they were very nice indeed. They were very crisp and had lots of flavour.
The batter on the fish was very crisp and light and smooth. Another customer requested some scraps of batter. We were surprised the shop could collect quite a lot of batter bits after seeing how smooth the batter on the fish was.
A very good shop that we'd like to return to at some point to try more of the items on offer.
