We were looking forward to a slap up lunch and chose a meal of haddock, chips and mushy peas.

The haddock (skin on) was cooked to order. The food was boxed and served with a complimentary wedge of lemon and a small tub of tartare sauce. We're impressed with this kind of attention to detail.

What we weren't impressed with was cold, wizened, chewy chips that had clearly been cooked some time ago. They were a massive disappointment, particularly as the fish was good with a lovely crunchy batter. The peas were OK.
