The White Lion bus stop will drop you off almost directly opposite to the Sandiacre Fish Bar.

This is a spotlessly clean local chippy with a very good reputation. Cheerful, uniformed staff will greet and quickly serve you.
The Chip Fiend who called here had a small fish and chips, open, for £4.50 and sat on a bench nearby.

The pale golden chips were lovely but the skinless fish was a bit dry and chewy. The crunchy batter was nice on top with a slight peppery taste, but a little soggy beneath the fish.
