The Chip Fiends have visited Sheringham Fish Bar before and have always enjoyed their chips. This shop stands on a T junction on the main shopping street where there are 3 other chippies nearby: Dave's, Straits and Stevenson's.
For £1.50 at Sheringham Fish Bar you can buy a small portion of fluffy, comforting and delicious chips freshly fried by friendly staff. Vegetarians may wish to note that food is fried in vegetable oil here, many other chippies in North Norfolk use beef dripping.
This shop has been going since 1969... And the chips get 5/5 from us!

Aside: prior to our visit to Sheringham Fish Bar we had visited another establishment nearby to enquire when they were going to close. We were planning on returning an hour later.
The shop was staffed by summer season temps.
"It's hard to say" said one.
"Five ... Or half five" said another.
We returned at 4pm - yes, 4 pm - to find the shop shut and staff putting away some fish that were still on the warmer. This was odd because the high street was still busy and it was an hour earlier than we were told.
