Needing a lunchtime snack I found myself at Rask's Traditional Fish and Chips stall in the outdoor courtyard of Derby's Victorian Market Hall.
There are some benches adjacent to the stall and several people were sitting in the courtyard eating their Rask's fayre. The food here is served in a sensible amount. Just right for a lunchtime treat.
Rask's chips are simply divine. Piping hot, firm and satisfying. The fish is good too, and what's more the food from this chippy is astonishingly good value for money.
With a portion of chips at £1 (or £2 if you want a large size) and fish at £2.50 you won't go hungry if you're in Derby city centre.
And you won't be disappointed...
