Aquarius, Glenfield, Leicestershire

In the late 60s and early 70s folk were always going on about the “age of Aquarius”. No idea why, probably something to do with beads and long hair. This chippy is the old school traditional looking type so maybe that’s where the name comes from.

They cooked to order. A mini fish and chips for me today. The chip shop is in a row of shops with houses on the opposite side of the street.

The fish was nice enough, the chips looked great but weirdly they had absolutely no flavour whatsoever. I added more of my own salt and vinegar but it made no difference. Maybe it was the variety of potato that was at fault here. It looked so good too.
