No visit to Norwich is complete without a bowl of minted peas from The Mushy Pea Stall. Our last diary entry for this establishment on Norwich market was way back in 2014! How time flies.
On our latest visit the mint sauce was added for us by the stall holder. Needless to say a generous amount was ladled onto the oh-so-delicious peas.
While we were eating another customer arrived at the stall. They ordered a bowl of peas with mint sauce, pepper and salt, then turned to Lucy's chip stall next door where they bought a tray of chips with a sausage. What an excellent combo. Now we know why the two stalls are next to each other. "These are the best chips on the market" he commented as he tucked into his chips from Lucy's.
And the best mushy peas in East Anglia, he might have added.
