I love chippies like this. Completely like stepping back in time to a chip shop when I was a child. There was barely room to swing a saveloy, it was so tiny. A back street corner chippy.
I ordered a mini special with mushy peas for less than than £4.00 if my memory serves me well.
When the staff was serving it up they put a sausage on the tray too. I didn’t realise this was part of the deal. A bonus if you like chippy sausages. I don’t.
The fish was indeed mini but that didn’t stop it from being delicious. The batter was light and crisp too. The chips were crisp outside and had a melt in the mouth inside. The mushy peas were nice also.
