Seabrook Fish and Chips flavour crisps

You can imagine a group sat around a board table. Someone suggests fish and chips flavour crisps. Another thinks “This has been done before by other companies and it’s never been a great success.” 

“Oh yes. What a great idea.”

I’ve long been a fan of Seabrook crisps. Twenty years ago I used to order a pick and mix box of all their unusual flavours; curry, garlic and herb, Mexican chilli and sweetcorn (yuck). They truly were the best at the more unusual crisp flavours, plus Captain Sensible likes them. 

Opening a bag of these you get a strong whiff of fish and chips but then the flavour is very dulled down. 

A vigorous shaking of non brewed condiment and salt, and the crisps were transformed. I wonder what they’re like in a butty.
