Bathams recently opened a pub across the road from this chip shop so one of us thought they could investigate both the pub and the chip shop.
I arrived about twenty five minutes before closing one lunchtime and was asked “Do you want anything frying?” with a tone of ‘please don’t say yes...’
So I had the mini fish that was in the display with chips and mushy peas.
The meal definitely had that “been on display for some time” flavour and texture about it. The peas were very nice though.
The Bathams was also very nice.
