Well I went and did the tourist thing. Because I was a tourist.
I decided to eat out rather than in the restaurant as there was a queue.
Just (skinless) haddock and chips today. It looked unremarkable. I hope the tourists don’t think all fish and chips look like this. The batter was a rather dull brown colour rather than an appetising golden. The chips were on the greasy side. That said, they did taste rather nice though.
I stood in the shadow of the Minster and finished them off. It seemed I was not the only one as the nearby bin was full of Drake’s boxes.
