Is this shop called Chip Shop or Fish Chips? The sign outside doesn’t give any clues.
We went one early evening to eat in. One of us had a mini fish and the other a large haddock. Service was polite and attentive and we were told the meal deal included sides and mugs of tea.
We sipped our tea whilst the food was cooked to order. Very nice it was too.
Light crisp batter and very fresh tasting.
We recalled how many years ago there was a chip shop here called The Trawlerman that was also very good.
