Sometimes you just need to grab some food on the go to fill a hole. You don’t want a fish supper you just need a quick bite.
This Chip Fiend was on the edge of Birmingham and chanced upon King Grill Fish Bar. Although it had the words “Fish Bar” on the sign I thought the name King Grill made it sound more of a kebab place.
Anyway, I was hungry so decided to pop inside. I requested chips, half expecting them to be fries. Then came the magic words “Chips for £1.00?”
Chips for £1.00?! Yes please. I felt like I’d traveled back in time about fifteen years or so.
The chips weren’t bad either. Well worth the money.
