Andy's Fish Bar, Wigston

"Sometimes it's good to have some really rubbish fish and chips as it puts the good ones into perspective" said one Chip Fiend to another.

The Chip Fiends decided to travel to a chippy tucked away in a residential area in Wigston, just outside Leicester.

It turned out we needn't have bothered.
One of the staff took the order but another (proto Alpha Male) took over and started cocking-up the service. After some confusion we eventually got what we'd ordered; small fish and chips "open". A £4.00 special.

The chips looked re-fried and were very greasy. A fairly decent portion of fish was encased in a thick, spongy and greasy sarcophagus of batter. After scooping out the white flesh the sorry mess was fed into the bin conveniently situated right outside the shop.
