The fish here is portioned in three sizes; mini, medium and large. The Chip Fiends requested medium and it was cooked to order. Once the fish was cooked the staff decided to cook the chips. This resulted in a fifteen minute wait for the food in a shop that wasn't busy with customers. Very strange.
One of us wished they'd ordered a scallop batch at £0.90 instead.
We ordered the food open but the person serving still couldn't resist closing the carton, wrapping it and then putting the parcel into a carrier bag.
We found a spot to eat nearby.
The fish was undercooked mush. Maybe the oil wasn't up to temperature, as the shop had only been open a couple of minutes when we arrived.
The chips were decent in flavour but they were cut in all manner of shapes and sizes. A massive serving for the "small" that was asked for.
