Fish and Liquor, Brighton

Fish and Liquor faces Brighton beach. It's a restaurant / bar specialising in 'quality line caught fish and hand cut chips' and also serving craft beer, cocktails, tea and coffee. On the day we visited we noticed some 'Deliveroo' staff waiting with their bikes outside the serving hatch, waiting to whisk some food away.

The menu includes:
Small portion of chips £2
Large portion of chips £2.65
Haddock £4
Plaice £4.60
Cod goujons £4 for 4
and homemade fish cakes £3.95

The chip fiends were hungry for a quick snack so went for a small portion of chips. A pale golden colour and crispy at the edges, they were fine but a little on the chewy side.

This place is worth a look for its caring attitude towards its produce.
