They were OK.
They were OK. They just could have been hotter and fresher.
The haddock was in the heated display unit, not cooked to order. This Chip Fiend could tell by the flavour that this would have been a good piece of haddock (skin on) had it not become lukewarm and beginning to go chewy.
The chips were satisfyingly chunky. Very thick. These were also beginning to go cold, so were becoming greasy.
The service here was very good; the food was served in a box and sealed with the shop's own branded tape to retain what little heat was left in this deep fried nosh.
