After a stroll on Mapperley Top, Nottingham, one of the fiends decided to try Plains Fish Bar for dinner. A sign outside boasted a gluten free menu but the fiend was too focused on the chips when inside, that they forgot to look what else the place had to offer!
This fiend ordered their usual chips and mushy peas - small portion, wrapped with salt and vinegar.
When home and opening the warm parcel of joy the fiend was not disappointed - a fair size portion assorted with chunky chips and scraps lay in front of them.
This chip experience was slightly different as there was a mini fiend in tow!
The chips were very tasty and well cooked - not quite a cloud, but the scrappy bits made up for it. The mushy peas were a bit on the vinegary side and the mini fiend turned their nose up at them.
The chips however were a success! Both fiends devoured the lot. We will visit again and next time see what the gluten free menu has to offer!
