Bentley's was very busy on our visit. Customers buying just chips, others buying fish and chips wrapped and many in the sit down restaurant. The delicious aromas from the shop drifted through the door and made our mouths water as we approached.
We decided to buy haddock and chips, cooked as we queued.
The fish was served in a light, bubbly batter with medium thick chips. All tasting very fresh.
We timed our visit (around 12:30) at the right moment as within about five minutes customers swarmed on Bentley's for their lunch. A very popular chippy that we will no doubt return to.
