There's been a take-away on this spot for as long as we can remember. Sometimes, sadly, not selling fish and chips. It has gone through many different names as a chippy; Classic, Walnut Street Chippy and now Dani's Fish Bar.

The regular sized fish, chips and a side will set you back £6.30, so it's not cheap but the food is very good and the portions are generous.

The fish had a light batter and big flakes.
The chips are thick cut.
Something that caught our eyes on the menu is the naans. The paneer tikka naan in particular sounds like a must try.

The only disappointment on this visit was the wrapping of the curry sauce tub. Loosely wrapped with a loose lid meant a lot of spillage.
