The Lace Market Fish Bar is conveniently located for a Chip Fiend on the prowl late at night. It hides modestly in Hockley - on Stoney Street to be precise.
The shop itself is basic - knowing its main function is to feed the drunk and hungry.
Although Lace Market Fish Bar appears functional and low key - the chips there are divine. Eating them at 2am is like eating clouds of fluffy fried potato. A must for anyone with a rumbling tummy in the small hours.
This Fiend has yet to try anything else on the menu but from the cloud chips alone I rate The Lace Market Fish Bar 5/5!
