The Grosvenor in the Norwich Lanes is a smart chippy with friendly staff. When one of the Fiends once visited he was given a free Tunnock's Tea Cake for dessert. The fish and chips are usually of good quality and a wedge of lemon is served with the fish.
However, on our visit in February 2014 they seemed to be having an 'off' day. The cod was mostly batter and had a stringy texture, probably from standing too long.
If we visit again we might go for the Big Mack instead: a mackerel fillet in a bun.
