A very popular chippy on Devonshire Square, Loughborough.
Every time this Chip Fiend has visited, the restaurant inside has been full of customers tucking into a mouth watering meal.
The portions here are very generous. Today the haddock was hanging over the side of the tray.
The batter was thin, preventing any stodginess. The fish was very fresh, flaky and tasting almost of the sea.
The chips here are unique in that they're cut wide but almost flat.
A perfect shape for retaining some of that salt and vinegar we sprinkle all over them.
Recommended if you're anywhere near Loughborough Town Hall or Market.
