Today (6th April 2024) is the final trading day of Tennant's Fish and Chips. The Chip Fiends visited for their Fryday chippy tea to say good bye.
There was a queue forming onto the pavement outside the shop and ITV Central news were there to film a report.
Tennant's is a family-run business and has been open for 81 years. Owner Gary (aged 74) is going to retire as the notices around the shop declare.
It is going to be a tearful day in Long eaton, so hurry up and get down there for your last portion of fish and chips!
