We had a car picnic at Croft Fisheries. It really was very good.
As you may recall we have visited quite a few chip shops in Nuneaton over the years. Croft Fisheries is a little way out of the town centre on the Croft Road.
We popped in on a Saturday lunchtime and between us had chips, mini fish, battered halloumi, mushy peas and curry sauce.
The shop was reasonably busy at the time so fresh chips were on the go. Very tasty and just how we like them - crisp on the outside and fluffy within.
The cod had good, chunky flakes. A good quality portion for a mini fish.
The halloumi was delicious. Highly recommended.

We ate every morsel and had to capture the moment when the last chip was forked!
