Time for another visit to Newark. This time to a residential area a short stroll from the town centre.
This is a lovely traditional chippy in a row of houses. I went in not long after opening at lunchtime. I ordered mini fish, chips and mushy peas.
I knew I was going to enjoy it as soon as I saw the food.
The batter on the fish was excellent, the fish inside was succulent. I found a bench in a nearby park to sit and nosh until my tray was empty.
Highly recommended.
